This privacy policy governs the manner in which Off Path LLC (“Company”, “Site”, “we”, “OffPathTravels.com”) collects, uses, maintains, and discloses personally identifiable information collected from the individuals who visit (“Users”). Personal identification information, under US privacy law and the European GDPR law, as well as information security, is information that can be used, on its own or with other information, to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context.  OffPathTravels.com is wholly owned and operated by Off Path LLC.

Collection of Information

The Site may collect personally identifiable information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our Site, register on the Site, subscribe to the newsletter, post a comment, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on the Site.  Users may visit the Site anonymously or refuse to supply personal information. We will collect personally identifiable information for Users only if they voluntarily submit such information.

If a User chooses to fill out a form, such as when commenting on our Site, reaching out to us via a contact form, signing up for our newsletter or anything else that requires the User to supply the information, the Site collects the data surrendered and stores it.

We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. The Site uses cookies. The Site’s third-party providers include, but are not limited to:

Google Analytics: Tracks Site usage and provides information such as referring websites and user actions on the Site. Google Analytics may capture your IP address.

MailerLite: Used for delivery of email updates and newsletters. User names and email addresses are stored to deliver such communications. Please refer to MailerLite’s privacy policy for further information.

Amazon: Tracks affiliate links for products we promote.

Affiliate Disclaimer

The Site has financial relationships with some of the brands and companies mentioned. We also use affiliate links to external websites where if used by the reader to purchase a service, product, accommodation, or any other item, we may receive a monetary reward.  

These affiliate links often use cookies and special referral codes to track the site where a user has come from, and our partners use this referral traffic to monitor any purchases you make on their site.  We do not pass on your data to any other websites, and unless you physically enter your personal information onto the third party site, your data is not identifiable.

COPPA (Children Online Privacy Protection Act)

When it comes to the collection of personal information from children under the age of 13 years old, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) puts parents in control. We do not specifically market to children under the age of 13 years old.
