It’s no secret that the Yucatan Peninsula has some of Mexico’s most popular beaches, but it’s also home to incredible off the beaten path destinations like: a yellow town, ancient archeological ruins, a lagoon with 7 colors, and plenty of beautiful cenotes to explore. Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula is actually made of up three states: Yucatán, Campeche, and Quintana Roo.
